From the fierce beating punishment to the cold violence today, it seems that the harm to study and life has been greatly reduced, which in essence has caused corporal punishment to students to a great extent.
Physical punishment and cold violence in education;
First, indifference. For example, teachers ignore the existence of students in class, neither criticize nor affirm, let themselves drift, and have no emotional communication with students.
Second, threats. Teachers threaten students with words, such as "Ask parents if they fail in the exam" or "Ask parents to take the students who fail in the exam home".
Third, ridicule. The teacher verbally mocked the students who were behind in their academic performance and did not take an active part in the activities.
Fourth, isolated type. Some students are not allowed to participate in class elections and other activities, or are deliberately arranged in the last row of the classroom.
Analysis of the current situation of corporal punishment and cold violence in education;
From the "green scarf" with strong social repercussions to the color-separated school uniforms printed with "top students", from "IQ test" to "disobedience to deposits", the phenomenon of cold violence in education is getting worse. It is not uncommon for students to be divided into three grades, six grades and nine grades according to their grades. Some cold violence, which is common in education, but still not paid attention to, is very common.
From the perspective of individual teachers, they can be divided into two categories. First, the pressure of teachers' life and work is too great. "Today's society is in a period of transition from a planned economy to a market economy. Various factors in the market economy have formed obvious and fierce social competition. The expanding market makes the contest between people increasingly fierce, which brings great pressure to the teaching profession. The sharp contrast between high work pressure and low economic income has increased the psychological pressure and life pressure of teachers. " Many teachers are in sub-health state, and show such negative psychological emotions in classroom teaching, making unreasonable oral comments and criticisms on students. Second, some teachers' professional ethics need to be improved. In the process of recruiting teachers, the school constantly puts forward the requirements of improving teachers' professional level, but often ignores the assessment of moral quality. In some informal local schools, the situation of teachers is uneven. Such a teacher will inevitably ignore the students' individual emotional experience in teaching, and may even have personality attacks.
