Teachers who believe that schools or other educational institutions have violated their rights stipulated in the Teachers Law may lodge a complaint with the people's government at the same level or the relevant departments of the people's government at the next higher level.

Teachers whose rights have been violated can complain to the administrative department of education. According to the provisions of China's Teacher Law, if a teacher infringes on his lawful rights and interests or refuses to accept the treatment made by schools and other educational institutions, he may lodge a complaint with the administrative department of education, which shall handle the complaint within 30 days after receiving it.
