National Security Education Day is a festival to enhance national security awareness and safeguard national security. On July 1 2065438, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) passed Article 14 of the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), and designated April 15 as the National Security Education Day for all.

2021April 15 is the sixth National Safety Education Day. The theme of the activity is "practicing the overall national security concept, coordinating development and security, coordinating traditional security and non-traditional security, and creating a good atmosphere to celebrate the 0/00th anniversary of the founding of the Party".

16 April 12, in order to welcome the first National Security Education Day, jizhou city, Hebei Province widely popularized the knowledge of national security among primary and secondary school students, and told the children the importance of national security by inviting revolutionary veterans to the campus and making posters to explain it, so as to improve their national security awareness.

Contemporary national security includes 16 basic contents: political security, homeland security, military security, economic security, cultural security, social security, scientific and technological security, network security, ecological security, resource security, nuclear security, overseas interests security, biological security, space security, polar security and deep-sea security.
