Huainan No.2 Middle School is a public high school located in Huainan City, Anhui Province. Huainan No.2 Middle School, founded in the autumn of 1946, is one of the earliest middle schools in Huainan. Originally known as Huainan Mining Road Workers' Children School, it was later renamed. 1956 was officially named Huainan No.2 Middle School, and 1959 was approved by Anhui provincial government as the first batch of provincial key middle schools.

1979 was identified by Anhui provincial education commission as the first batch of key middle schools in the new period.
