How many levels of English certificate are there?
There are five certificate levels in the National English Test.

English certificate level:

PETS- 1 is the beginning of level five, PETS-2 is the lower and middle level of level five, PETS-3 is the upper and middle level of level five, PETS-4 is the upper and middle level of level five, and PETS-5 is the upper and middle level of level five. Candidates can apply for written or oral examinations according to their own needs.

Candidates who have passed the written and oral tests at the same level in the same exam or two adjacent exams can obtain the national English proficiency test certificate issued by the examination center of the Ministry of Education at the corresponding level.

A brief introduction to the national English proficiency test;

PETS is a national English proficiency test system designed and implemented by the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education. Candidates, regardless of age, education, household registration and other backgrounds (but due to policy reasons, they are not allowed to face students who are still receiving nine-year compulsory education), as long as they have a certain English foundation, they can choose the level that suits them.

The registration and organization of PETS level 1 to level 4 examinations are the responsibility of the provincial examination organizer. The examination time is: take PETS Grade 1 B, Grade 1 II and Grade 3 in March every year, and take PETS Grade 1 II, III and Grade 4 in September every year.

PETS Band 5 has replaced the EPT test in the National Foreign Language Proficiency Test (WSK), and its test time and organization are consistent with other subjects in the National Foreign Language Proficiency Test (WSK). The time of PETS Band 5 examination is May and165438+1October every year.

The role of national English proficiency test certificate;

1, Level 2 Certificate of National English Test:

2. Level 3 Certificate of National English Test:

The third-class pet is the middle of the fifth-class pet. Candidates who pass this level of examination basically meet the requirements of non-English majors in higher education self-study examination or non-English majors in colleges and universities, and basically meet the needs of administrative secretaries, assistant managers, general managers or scientific and technological workers, employees of foreign companies and other foreign exchanges.

3. CET-4 certificate:

The fourth-grade pet is the upper-middle grade of the fifth-grade pet. The English level of the candidates who pass this level examination basically meets the needs of non-English majors in colleges and universities, and basically meets the requirements of ordinary professional and technical personnel or scientific research personnel, modern enterprise managers and other positions for English.
