"the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council's Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Colleges, Universities and Primary Schools in the New Period" clearly stated that schools should earnestly assume the important responsibilities of labor education, and the main tasks are:

First, set up all-round labor education courses and make overall arrangements for labor practice time inside and outside the class;

Second, according to the characteristics of the study period and the actual situation in the region, plan the content of labor education courses and pay attention to the study of Marxist labor concept and related labor skills;

Third, organize and implement the labor week and arrange students' collective labor in an orderly manner;

Fourth, strengthen the research on labor education, constantly improve the methods and organizational forms of labor education, pay attention to stimulating students' internal needs and motivation, and improve the educational effect.

Reeducation through labor involves all aspects of society. To this end, the "Opinions" put forward clear requirements on how to strengthen labor education in all aspects of society:

First, enterprises, companies, factories and farms should fulfill their social responsibilities, open practice places, and especially encourage high-tech enterprises to provide support for students to experience new forms and methods of labor practice under the conditions of modern science and technology;

Second, trade unions, the Communist Youth League, women's federations and other mass organizations, as well as public welfare foundations and social welfare organizations, should organize and mobilize relevant forces, build a diversified labor practice platform, and pay attention to guiding students to participate in public welfare labor and volunteer service;

Third, the propaganda department should encourage and support the creation of more excellent works with the theme of praising ordinary workers, and widely publicize the typical figures and deeds of hard work, honest work and creative work.
