Pingdingshan High-tech Campus is one of the campuses of Pingdingshan No.1 Middle School and a full-time key high school. Founded in 196 1, it is a subordinate school of Pingdingshan Education Bureau. In 2022, Pingdingshan No.1 Middle School moved from Miner Road Campus to Future Avenue Campus on the lakeside of Bai Gui. The investment in the new campus is nearly 300 million yuan, the campus area has increased from 50 mu to 200 mu, and the scale of running a high school has increased from each grade 16 classes to 22 classes, with 273 faculty members and more than 3,800 students. In 2022, the school moved from Miner Road Campus under Pingdingshan to Future Avenue Campus near Bai Gui Lake. The campus relocation project started in the autumn of 2020 and is scheduled to be completed and put into use in the autumn of 2023.
