Who set the tuition standard for private universities?
In order to encourage private capital to enter the education industry, the state allows the emergence of private universities and supervises their fees.

The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security issued the Interim Measures for the Administration of Private Education Fees.

The standard of tuition and accommodation fees charged by private schools for non-academic education objects shall be determined by private schools themselves. After confirmation, each school shall submit the school license, the legal person registration certificate issued by the administrative department of education or labor and social security, and the record form of non-academic education fees of private schools (see Annex 1) to the price department of the county (place of registration) where the school is located for the record, and release it to the public after the record is completed.

"Record Form for Non-academic Education Fees of Private Schools" in duplicate, which shall be filed by the competent pricing department and private schools respectively.

Private schools shall collect fees according to the charging items and standards approved or filed by the competent price department, and provide corresponding services.

Private schools need to issue relevant tax invoices to students when collecting fees.
