Over the past 50 years, under the cordial care of the leading comrades of the Party and the State, and under the direct leadership of the Ministry of Education, the National Institute of Educational Sciences has unswervingly implemented the educational policy of the Party and the State, earnestly and solidly studied major theoretical, policy and practical issues in China's educational reform and development, and made important contributions to the prosperity and development of China's educational science and the modernization of socialist education. Since 2003, under the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, the National Academy of Educational Sciences has adhered to the development path of combining Industry-University-Research. Through the innovation, optimization and improvement of the scientific research mechanism, a large number of scientific research achievements have been formed, which serve decision-making, guide practice, enrich theory and have distinctive characteristics, and have created a scientific research team with courage to explore, determination to innovate and vitality, and played a leading and guiding role in the theoretical, policy and practical research of educational reform. It has made important intellectual contributions and talent support for major educational decision-making consultation, academic innovation of educational theory, training of senior professionals, dissemination of advanced educational concepts and development of educational science.

At present, there are 254 staff members and 2 15 professional technicians, including 104 with senior professional and technical positions. Among them, doctor 4 1 and master 6 1. Professional researchers and scientific research managers 158 people. There are 7 research departments and 32 research centers, covering the main fields of education and scientific research. The office of the national leading group for educational science planning is located in this institute. The postdoctoral research center and Peking University Institute of Education jointly set up a doctoral program in educational principles to recruit domestic visiting scholars independently. There are 2 affiliated schools, experimental kindergartens 1, and experimental education colleges are jointly established with Linyi Normal University. There are 6 educational industrial entities such as Education Science Press, and 10 professional newspapers and periodicals such as Education Research Magazine. Nine professional academic organizations, including China Tao Xingzhi Research Association, are affiliated to our college. At present, it has formed a comprehensive, large-scale scientific research and multi-functional development pattern and growth form, which is oriented to major educational decision-making and educational reform practice, attaches importance to theoretical innovation, characteristic investigation, experimental research and applied research, and integrates educational scientific research, book publishing, newspaper editing, personnel training and industrial research and development.
