From 20 14, I began to contact the learning stories of New Zealand. What impressed me deeply was not how to write stories, but the ideal declaration of teachers under the framework of New Zealand national early education curriculum: "Let children grow into capable and confident learners and communicators, and have a sense of physical and mental health, security and belonging, and know that they can make important contributions to society", which is quite different from our traditional concept of preschool education. Under the leadership of "Anji Games", indie games have been popular in the whole province for four years. In the promotion of game courses, we feel that the most difficult thing to change is teachers' views on children and education. In the process of practical education in kindergartens, we often find that teachers have omnipresent, intentional or unintentional, tangible and intangible "control" over children, and they will take out scissors from time to time to trim small trees to prevent them from growing crooked. The case described in Discovering the Power of Children is also a problem we encounter in the process of developing independent games, which has certain reference function.
In order to change the concept of education, teachers need to think about "what kind of people are children" from the source-children are capable and confident learners and communicators, and we should attach importance to children's spontaneous activities and give them room for self-development. Only by letting the teacher know the child again can the teacher slowly learn to let go and let the child be free. Advocating teachers to "stop" and "shut up" in autonomous games is far from simple. It represents teachers' trust in children, and it is also the concrete embodiment of teachers' view of children in educational practice.
