The territory of Shijiazhuang is from Shizhuang Station of Metro Line 5 to Shijiazhuang North Station. In order to speed up the construction of traffic infrastructure in Shijiazhuang, the municipal government decided to incorporate the first phase of rail transit lines 4 and 5 into the urban housing expropriation plan on state-owned land in 2023. The people's governments of qiaoxi district, Xinhua District, Chang 'an District, Yuhua District and Luquan District respectively organize the implementation of house expropriation, which mainly connects the education and living groups in the southwest area of the central city, the densely populated residential areas in the west along Friendship Street, the North Railway Station, the Blue Sky Shengmu Business Circle and the Jianhua Market Business Circle. In August, 2022, official website Shijiazhuang Rail Transit issued a tender notice for the first phase of Shijiazhuang Urban Rail Transit Line 5, with a total construction period of about 72 months. The first phase of Line 5 has a total length of 19: 9 1 km, with 8 stations/kloc-0, including Shizhuang Station.
