What is the basic content of American psychologist Gardner's "Theory of Multiple Structures of Intelligence"? What does this theory inspire today's education?
Gardner believes that there are seven relatively independent intelligences in human intelligence structure, which are combined in many ways. Gardner's seven intelligences are:

(1) Speech intelligence, including speaking, reading and writing skills;

(2) Logic-Mathematical intelligence is the ability of exponential operation, logical thinking and scientific analysis;

(3) Visual-spatial intelligence, including the ability to identify the environment and identify the direction;

(4) Musical intelligence, including the ability to recognize sounds and express rhythms;

(5) Sports intelligence, including the ability to control limbs to complete precise operations;

(6) Interpersonal intelligence (that is, social intelligence), including the ability to communicate and get along with others;

(7) Self-knowledge intelligence (that is, introspective intelligence) includes the ability to know yourself and choose your own life direction.

1999, Gardner put forward the eighth kind of intelligence, that is, the ability to know nature and classify all kinds of things in our surrounding environment.

Gardner's theory of intellectual structure enlightens us that in the past, people mainly referred to scientific and academic intelligence, but basically excluded social intelligence. It seems that being good at knowing yourself, understanding others and being good at sports has nothing to do with intelligence. The theory of multiple intelligence structure broadens our thinking, and the application of this theory is conducive to discovering different types of talents and better cultivating all kinds of talents.
