—— Excerpts from Teacher Chen Xingchun's lecture.
The growth of front-line teachers is inseparable from the classroom. "The class is bigger than the sky" should be the motto of every teacher. So what can we do to make our classroom shine? This afternoon, teacher Chen Xingchun's lecture "Promoting the Professional Development of Primary and Secondary School Teachers in the New Era" gave us detailed guidance in class.
At the beginning of the lecture, Mr. Chen first talked about some insights from his long-term teaching: to be a learning, research and reflective teacher, to reduce the burden on teachers and students and to improve the effectiveness of teaching. Next, he talked about the following five aspects around the classroom-
Professor Harvard University once said: The purpose of education is not to learn to push a lot of knowledge, but to learn a kind of thinking. The word "education" is no stranger to us. Why should people be educated? What is the purpose of education? What is real education? Get knowledge? Mastering skills? Success? Win respect? Or, have fun. ....
? Richard Levin, a former president of Yale University for 20 years, once said: Real education can make people competent for any subject and occupation without imparting any knowledge and skills. This is the real education. ? "Education will not change the living environment, but it can change people's way of thinking.
Educate children, grasp habits first, and then talk about grades.
Excellence is a habit.
When a person comes to this world, except for some differences in IQ with others, everything else is basically formed the day after tomorrow, influenced by the surrounding environment, and so is a person's habit. Therefore, on the issue of cultivating children's habits, it is worth pondering. Remember: get used to it first, and then talk about your grades! For example, we should cultivate the following habits: the habit of respecting and appreciating teachers, the habit of self-study and preview, the habit of studying and pondering, the habit of completing homework independently, the habit of carefully examining questions, the habit of reflecting after practice, the habit of reviewing and summarizing, the habit of sorting out the wrong question bank and the habit of optimistic evaluation.
Steps to develop good study habits:
The first step is to start patiently and gradually accelerate.
I plan to remember 10 English words every day, so that I won't fall to the ground to remember words every day. Recognizing the disadvantages of scribbling, we should pay close attention to writing and doing the questions, ensure that the words are neat and tidy, and review the questions. If you realize the harm of bad study habits, you will automatically and consciously overcome them. Make a study plan and finish it regularly and quantitatively. Determined to make their academic achievements move forward in the class and even the whole school, we must do everything possible to tap their learning potential.
The second step is to control time and space and restrain yourself.
People's behavior is largely influenced by emotional factors. For example, a primary and middle school student has realized the negative effects of playing video games and doesn't want to play video games anymore. However, as soon as he entered the video game concert hall, he got carried away and couldn't control himself. Therefore, in the process of habit formation, we should control our time and space to restrain our behavior when our self-control is not very strong.
Preparing lessons is the premise. Teacher Chen told us in detail that the following factors should be considered in the process of preparing lessons:
Decisiveness of teaching purpose, clarity of purpose, stipulation of teaching material content, high accuracy, strong pertinence, careful planning, accurate foresight, cohesion of preparing lessons, development of preparing lessons and education of teaching activities. ...
Mr. Chen is mainly concerned with two issues:
1. The most easily overlooked key details in class.
2. The difference between teachers who can teach and teachers who can't.
After listening to Mr. Chen's lecture, I found my own gap and saw my usual shortcomings. The class is bigger than the sky! In the future, I will make my classroom more exquisite with greater enthusiasm and more active input, so that students can enjoy the classroom and enjoy the joy of learning!
