Cai Yuanpei was a famous educator in the early years of the Republic of China. He put forward the educational policy, the educational policy of giving equal attention to five educations, military national education, strength education, civic moral education, world outlook education and aesthetic education, and promulgated the educational purpose. From 19 12 to 19 13, Cai Yuanpei reformed Peking University. Cai Yuanpei promulgated the Provisional Curriculum Outline of General Education, canceled the classic reading class, criticized and inherited the traditional culture, and paid attention to the commonality, adaptability and coordination of hands and brains of the curriculum.
