I have heard, seen, done and thought a lot about the current educational reform. In my mind, the core understanding of modern education is to follow the laws of children's psychological and physical development, with students as the main body and teachers as the leading factor. Of course, such understanding in the front-line teaching work, the implementation of practical actions does not completely conform to this main line, there are still many puzzles and difficulties. Therefore, when I saw that one of the holiday tasks was about self-learning related books and writing my own feelings, my heart was secretly pleased. Because there is external force to urge myself to study, I don't think this holiday will be too empty in my study.
The book I choose is "Education is Humanism", and my understanding of the topic is this: education is a discipline that studies human nature and education is a discipline that serves mankind. After reading the book From Experience Accumulation and Practice Exercise by Director Ren Yongsheng, I have the following thoughts to share with you:
The author's interpretation of the title;
Education is "human study", and the mission of education is to promote the growth and development of "all people" and create "natural" conditions for the growth and development of "all people". Education must unconditionally accept, tolerate and respect people and "let him be himself". Education is not everything.
Education is only the external cause of human development, and the internal cause is the self-construction and self-growth of the educated. From this perspective, I think: since education is an external cause, how should we, as educators, guide the good growth and development of internal causes in practice? The author tells us that this needs to be considered from three aspects: schools, teachers and classrooms.
A school:
The standard to measure the quality of a school is whether students can grow up happily and whether teachers can develop happily. A good school should be a garden for students to explore knowledge, a paradise for students to grow up happily, a home full of affection, an ideal garden for flying, and a garden for teachers and students to bloom. To build such a school, we need a school-running concept of people-oriented, life-oriented and development-oriented, a school-running model of students-oriented, learning-oriented and quality-oriented, and a management model based on law, morality, democracy and science.
Second, the teacher:
The role of teachers: The title of Chapter 6, "Win teachers and win education", can be used to reflect the important role of teachers in education.
First of all, the author mentioned reducing the burden on teachers. In order to reduce the burden on teachers, teachers should not be allowed to do things that have nothing to do with the essence of education. Teachers should have time to do what they should do, turn education into creative work, and make teachers achieve both students' achievements and their own achievements, so as to enhance their initiative in work. Only when the internal motivation is enhanced and there is no burden can teachers truly gain the heartfelt respect of students and regain their professional happiness.
This leads to the second question. After reducing the burden on teachers, if some teachers still can't devote themselves to teaching, live a life of "boiling frogs in warm water" and enter the state of providing for the aged ahead of time, it is still a difficult problem for students to start their education. This is the second question: how to wake up the teacher in warm water and let them save the children in the oil pan?
"Warm water" refers to the traditional education mode, which is very simple. The teacher speaks and the students listen. It is very labor-saving, only grasping the scores of a few students, and it is impossible to pursue the all-round development of all students without pursuing it; The most benefited are incompetent teachers. As long as you behave well, whether the students like it or not, your class is a good class, so the students are not students' problems. Therefore, if teachers want to have an efficient classroom, they should do it on the basis of less lectures: ignite students' learning passion, teach students how to learn, build a ladder for students to climb, point out problems that students can't solve by independent learning, build class study groups and competitive culture, and scientifically integrate teaching materials.
To change the state of "boiling frogs in warm water", only through "classroom teaching reform", that is, curriculum reform, can teachers gain more respect from students and grow themselves. There are six proverbs in the new curriculum reform: independence, cooperation and exploration. How can we realize these six proverbs? This requires teachers to spend a long time doing many things after class, such as making a tutoring plan. In order to make the lesson plan of tutorial class really become the steering wheel, circuit diagram and navigator of students' learning, teachers should consider students' cognitive laws and basic differences (preparing students), the logical laws of knowledge development and the structure and key points of knowledge (preparing knowledge), and consider how to make the lesson plan of tutorial class play the most effective role in the classroom (preparing teaching methods and learning methods). Teachers should learn to integrate time, let students learn only what they can't learn, learn to integrate students and space, let students integrate classes according to the principle of heterogeneity in the same group or homogeneity in different groups, learn to integrate teaching materials, and integrate teaching materials according to the logical law of knowledge and the cognitive law of students;
