2. Establish rules.
You should be serious about this part and let the students know that this teacher is not easy to mess with. If the early stage is too gentle, the later stage can be managed completely. For example, how to have a class (you must sit up straight in class, hold your chest with your arms, and so on). If you make a mistake, this will happen (what will the teacher do).
Homework requirements: it should be completed on time every day, and the team leader should check it on time, and report the inspection results to the class representative, who will then hand over the completion of the homework to the teacher. If homework needs to be collected, the group leader of each group should collect it first (six people are a group, and I mentioned the purpose of such grouping in my notes before), and then the group leader will hand over the homework and unfinished list to the class representative.
This can improve the efficiency of the collection operation. Some classes can't receive homework for three days, and I don't know who didn't hand it in for half a day. Teachers need to supervise every day for the first two weeks, and students who have not finished their homework should find these students in time. You will be much more relaxed in the future.
Classroom rules: explain the curriculum and classroom requirements, how to study in your class, and what they should do to learn better. How to preview and let them circle the sketch. I will ask a few questions before math class, so that they can preview them purposefully according to my questions.
How to review (what habits have you developed at ordinary times, such as sorting out the wrong questions in the wrong book and clamping the test papers together with clips). What stationery to prepare (two-color pen, wrong book and so on, how to use it, when to use it).
3. Raise expectations.
Let them have confidence in themselves. Appropriate encouragement will cheer all the students up and make them determined to learn the course as well as possible. For example, I will tell them about the grades of my former students, especially those who had a very weak foundation at first, with more than 30 points, and they worked hard for a year before getting 96 points.
