Guangxi Normal University, formerly known as Guangxi Provincial Teachers College, was founded in 1932, 10, 12, and its campus is located in Yanshan Mountain, Guilin City.
From 65438 to 0936, Guangxi Normal University was merged into Guangxi University and became the Law School of Guangxi University (hereinafter referred to as Law School).
Guangxi Teachers College was rebuilt in June 194 1, renamed Guangxi Provincial Guilin Teachers College in April 1942, and renamed National Guilin Teachers College in August 1943.
1946 moved to Nanning in February and changed its name to National Nanning Teachers College.
1950 In February, the National Nanning Teachers College moved back to Guilin from Nanning, merged into Guangxi University again, and established Guangxi University Teachers College (hereinafter referred to as the College of Culture and Education).
1953 National faculty adjustment, Guangxi University was ordered to cancel. In August of the same year, Guangxi Normal University was established in the original site of Guangxi University (Jiangjunqiao, Guilin) according to the plan of the Ministry of Education on the adjustment of colleges and departments nationwide, on the basis of some teachers and all students majoring in normal education left by the former Department of Arts and Sciences of Guangxi University.
1954 The school moved to Wangcheng, Guilin (now Wangcheng Campus).
1976 established a branch school in Sanlidian (now Yucai Campus) in the eastern suburb of Guilin.
On May 28th 1983, Guangxi Normal University was renamed Guangxi Normal University.
On February 8, 2005, Yanshan Campus was built in Yanshan Town, Yanshan District, Guilin City, and put into use on June 7, 2007.
May 20 18 was selected as a first-class discipline construction university in Guangxi.
