Notes by Xu Li, the author of Pedagogy of Children's Books;
1, adults should take full responsibility for the quality of their feelings.
-children are particularly naughty. What should I do?
1 1. Children are not born to refuse rules or like to challenge them. Instead, they like rules. They need adults to help create and maintain an orderly and safe environment. If adults can clearly express what they insist on and why these things are so important, adults will build credibility in their children's hearts.
12. The following are some inappropriate behaviors of adults:
? Unable to deal with the child's problem behavior, and even inadvertently encouraged the child's misconduct.
? Can't give emotional support to children.
? Not good at communicating with children.
13. If adults lack understanding ability, it is easy to destroy children's inner strength, leading children to retreat, hide and confront. Without the attachment relationship of mutual trust, adults certainly can't win the cooperation of children.
14. Teacher Nelson will be brave enough to make demands on children, maintain order and create an orderly and effective learning environment; Children will understand that a good teacher needs a good student to complete it, and can't just ask the teacher to do well without taking responsibility for maintaining discipline. Only when students are self-disciplined and cooperative can a gentle and considerate good teacher continue to exist.
15. For adults who think that children must strictly abide by the rules, it is necessary for children to know the purpose of adults to maintain the rules. These rules are beneficial to everyone, so that continuous and meaningful learning can take place.
16. If parenting points to separation, then restraining and restricting children's behavior is an attempt to help children move from heteronomy to self-discipline.
17. If the relationship between adults and children goes wrong, adults should take the initiative to repair the relationship more consciously than children, and have more courage to apologize and change themselves.
? 2. The story knows what to do.
-What should I do if the child doesn't stop becoming an adult?
18. Adults tell stories to children, insist on reading with children, read to children, or read to children between adults and children. The greater value lies in helping adults communicate with children and learn to understand others and the world. This is a spiritual and cultural activity, not just for literacy, reading and writing.
19. In Reading for Love, American writer Alice ·Ozma recorded her 32 18-day journey of reading with her father. After more than 9 years of persistence, the ultimate goal is not to be admitted to a favorite university, nor to become a writer, but to "remember each other's contributions forever in the time of studying together", which is the best time they spent together and their common good memories.
20. Adults and children talk through stories, share each other's feelings and accompany each other, which will bring them closer.
Use stories to help children identify emotions-"They will be angry!" "If you keep interrupting me, I'll be angry, too."
Use stories instead of preaching-"How vicious!" "Yes, the gray swamp beaver may think so, too."
Replace the reprimand with a story-"He is so rude!" "shh! Dad went on to say. "
Use stories to express expectations-"So on the last night, I couldn't sleep until late at night. Always looking at the sea. "
