The Education Examinations Institute is a government administrative unit. Its office hours are from 8: 30 a.m. to 12: 00 a.m. and from 13: 00 p.m. to 17: 30 p.m. every Monday to Friday, and it is closed on legal holidays.

The State Council's "Regulations on Working Hours of Employees" stipulates: "State organs and institutions implement unified working hours, with Saturdays and Sundays as weekly rest days. The Education Examinations Institute is a specialized institution responsible for the management and research of all kinds of education examinations at all levels in the whole region. At the same time, it undertakes some educational examination projects, the main tasks of which include examination system, examination management, examination evaluation, enrollment and so on. Since its establishment, the Education Examinations Institute will continue to communicate extensively with other countries on the principle of mutual benefit and seek all-round cooperation in theoretical research, project development, information technology application, examination evaluation and so on.
