Delineation of drinking water source protection areas: first-class protection areas: water areas 1000 meters upstream and downstream of water intake points 100 meters and land areas 200 meters on both sides of the river bank. Secondary protected area: the land area 2500 meters away from the upper boundary of the primary protected area and 200 meters on both sides of the river bank. Quasi-protected area: 5000 meters water area on the upper boundary of the second-class protected area and 200 meters land area on both sides of the river bank.
If the water functional area where the water source is located is a single functional drinking water functional area, all waters in the drinking water functional area are classified as water source protection areas; If the water functional area where the water source is located is a multifunctional water functional area with drinking as the leading function, the river water area from 2 ~ 3 km upstream to downstream 100m is classified as a water source protection area, but it does not exceed the upper boundary of the water functional area where the water source is located.
