Anyang normal College is located in Anyang, a national historical and cultural city famous for Yin Ruins. It is a provincial comprehensive college with a history of one hundred years. The school's predecessor was Zhang Defu anyang normal College, which was founded in 1908. After several times of integration and tortuous development, 1949 was named anyang normal School of Pingyuan Province by the People's Government of Pingyuan Province in July, 1958 was transformed into anyang normal College of Henan Province, 1978 was restored to the name of anyang normal College by the State Council, and was upgraded to anyang normal College with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2000.

At present, the school covers an area of 1.900 mu with a building area of over 700,000 square meters. The total value of instruments and equipment 1. 1 100 million yuan, books and documents 1.85 million copies. There are more than 300 faculty members/kloc-0, including 93 professors and 620 teachers with master's and doctor's degrees. The school enrolls students nationwide, with more than 8000 ordinary full-time students/kloc-0. The School of Humanities and Management of anyang normal University was established in April 2003, with more than 9,000 ordinary full-time students.
