Japanese female students support the concept of premarital purity, even lower than boys. 40% for boys and less than 30% for girls.

The survey also shows that only over 40% of Japanese male and female high school students think that men should be like men. Less than 40% of the boys surveyed believe that women should still look like women. High school girls are even lower, only 22%.
