Jinhua Qisheng School (formerly Jinhua Deaf-mute School) is located atNo. 1, Zunxian Street, Tangxi Town, Wucheng District, Jinhua City. It is the only special education school located in rural areas in Zhejiang Province. Established in 1950 and 10 for two months. The original site is the Kitchen King Temple in Jiefangmen, Jinhua City. At that time, there were 3 teachers (2 deaf people) and 9 students, which was the beginning of special education in Jinhua. 1956 after the socialist transformation, the school was changed from private to public, directly under the leadership of the cultural and educational department of Jinhua county. President Wang Youren (deaf-mute) was recommended as the representative of special education in the province, went to Beijing to attend the National Congress of the Blind and Deaf, and was received by Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and other central leaders. From 65438 to 0966, the school moved to Tangxi Town, which has been located in a remote rural area for more than 30 years. From May, 20001year, the school is under the control of the Municipal Education Bureau.
