Training objectives: Professional training of modern outstanding primary school teachers and high-level educational, teaching and scientific research managers with profound educational feelings, solid professional foundation, excellent teaching skills, outstanding scientific research ability and broad international vision.
Training characteristics: professional pedagogy enrollment, professional diversion after the first year of high school. The structure of professional teachers is reasonable, the proportion of teachers with doctoral degrees reaches 92%, and the tutorial system of "trinity (life, study and society)" is implemented in students' life. The major pays attention to the cultivation of students' information knowledge and teachers' application ability in the era of artificial intelligence, and makes use of the advantages of selecting courses and attending lectures in the Chinese Language and Literature College (Music and Dance) to cultivate students' literary and artistic literacy.
Main courses: educational principles, educational psychology, children's developmental psychology, children's educational philosophy, educational research methods, China's educational history, foreign educational history, primary school Chinese curriculum and teaching theory, primary school mathematics curriculum and teaching theory, class management and class teacher's work graduation destination;
(1) Graduation for further study: Students majoring in this major can not only recommend to study for graduate students majoring in education in our school and continue to study for doctoral degrees in design education, but also apply for graduate degrees in other universities at home and abroad. The overall graduate admission rate of graduates is about 30% on average. Professional style of study is clean. Four students in a dormitory were admitted to Peking University, Tsinghua, Fudan University and Xiamen University at the same time. In recent years, the proportion of graduates studying in overseas universities has increased year by year, and some outstanding students have entered the College of Education of University of London in the United Kingdom and the Teachers College of Columbia University in the United States for further study.
(2) Employment destination: After graduation, I mainly engaged in primary school teaching, educational research and school management. Over the years, the employment rate of graduates has been stable at over 95%. Graduates are employed all over the country, and more are engaged in education, teaching and management in key primary schools in the Yangtze River Delta region (mainly in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai). Among them, the number of graduates engaged in education, teaching and management research in high-quality primary schools in Fengxian District, Jinshan District, Suzhou City, Nanjing City and Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province has increased year by year. Graduates are distributed in most key primary schools in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, and are well received and welcomed by the school.
