Paragraph 2 of Article 40 of the party constitution Amendment to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is amended as "Give criticism and education until disciplinary action according to the nature and severity of mistakes" and "Give criticism and education, order inspection, admonish until disciplinary action according to the nature and severity of mistakes". This revision adds two ways of handling "ordered inspection" and "admonishing", which strengthens the handling efforts and is conducive to exercising public power according to discipline and regulations.
