Shijie's educational contribution;
Shijie spent most of his life in educational activities, running academies and hosting local scholars, and spared no effort in his life.

In the first year of Jing You (1034), Shijie was transferred to stay in Nanjing and was promoted to Tianfu Academy.

In the second year of Youjing (1035), Shijie built the Berlin Academy in the southeast corner of Dongyue Temple (now Dai Temple in Tai 'an), and Sun Fu named it the "Passage Pavilion". Its former site is now located in the south of Bai Han Courtyard of Dai Temple in Tai 'an City. Later, due to the expansion of Dai Temple, the former site of Xindaotang was merged into the courtyard of Dai Temple, so I went to the middle foot of Mount Tai to rearrange the courtyard, repair the house, build the hall and recruit disciples to give lectures. This is "Taishan Academy", also known as "Taishan Academy".

In the first year of Kangding (1040), Shijie founded Culai Academy in Changchun Ridge of Culai Mountain during the mourning period, so as to teach students easily.

Two years after Li Qing (1042), Shijie and Sun Fu successively went to imperial academy to give lectures directly, and imperial academy flourished, and his disciples also came out to be officials. Taishan Academy was short of people and gradually declined. During the reign of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty, the Academy was rebuilt in the original site, and between Jiajing and Jiajing, two immortal temples were built for Sun Fu and Shijie, and between Qin Long, Ai Hu was added, which was called Sanxian Temple. From 65438 to 0995, the Tai 'an Municipal Government renovated Taishan Academy, reappearing its ancient features, which is of positive significance to the forum of Daxing Academy.

The style of study of Taishan Academy and Culai Academy initiated Neo-Confucianism in Song and Ming Dynasties. Respect teachers, regardless of position. At that time, Sun Fu was a scholar who was tired and frustrated four times. At that time, Shi Jie was already a scholar and worked as an official in Yunzhou and Nanjing. Their fame, position and status are different. Shi Jie doesn't feel high, but he respects Sun Fu's knowledge and morality and worships Sun Fu as a teacher.

Based on the basic idea of "Ming Dow's practice", Shijie takes it as his duty to explain Confucianism. Although his thought was not systematic and mature enough, it opened the wind of "debate" in the traditional Confucian school camp and actually opened the trend of Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty. His influence on the development of Neo-Confucianism in later generations has two aspects: first, his ideological theory "originated from Confucius" and promoted the status of Confucianism; Secondly, he put forward some ideas and ideas for later Neo-Confucianism to continue to explore and even learn from.

When talking about the study of Confucian Classics, Taishan Academy abandoned the study of exegesis of chapters and sentences that Confucianism has been striving for all the time, and focused on explaining the principles, criticizing and denying the unreasonable elements in the classical annotations.
