Age characteristics and education of 3-year-old children
Age characteristics of 3-year-old children:

1, thinking exists in action

All kinds of psychological activities of 2-year-old children have obvious intuitive actions, and memory and thinking are carried out in direct contact with things or in activities. Without concrete things, concrete activities cannot be carried out. They often do it first, then think, and think while doing it. For example, I often can't say what to knead before kneading mud, and often say "apple" and "pie" after kneading an image.

2. Try to imitate and like to repeat.

2-year-olds love to imitate others. They play whatever they see others playing. Imitate the activities of adults at home, and imitate the behavior of children and teachers in kindergarten. Most imitations are concrete and simple external actions.

2-year-old children's attention and memory are involuntary and short-lived. Repetition is a striking feature of children of this age. They like to fiddle with things over and over again, and they like to listen to the teacher tell the same story and do some actions over and over again, such as feeding the dolls over and over again. In the repetition of going back and forth, we gradually understand the attributes of objects, develop language and actions, gradually understand the simple relationship of things, and produce simple imagination.

3. Words have developed rapidly, and listening and speaking abilities have basically taken shape.

2 ~ 3 years old is a critical period for children's oral development. At this time, children become particularly talkative and their vocabulary increases rapidly. They can already express 100 million yuan in simple compound sentences and basically understand common simple sentence patterns. At the end of 2 years old, I will use "I" to express my needs and desires, and begin to distinguish myself from my object. The development of speech promotes the germination of self-awareness.

4. Interested in bright colors and rhythms.

2-year-old children are in the exploration stage of the new opposite sex. At this time, children are particularly interested in novelty. Therefore, brightly colored, noisy and moving objects can attract their attention and love, arouse their interest, and enable them to actively understand the environment and participate in activities.

According to the age characteristics of children aged 2-3, the following points are very important:

1, purposefully and consciously guide and shape children's behavior. Don't think that children are too young to understand. Children of this age are the most critical period to cultivate their conscience, that is, they feel guilty about doing something wrong and restrain their ability to make mistakes again. If we don't actively guide and shape children's behavior at this stage, it may pave the way for the future "Xiong Haizi".

Parents should consciously restrain their words and deeds. At this stage, children have a strong motivation to learn and imitate. No matter what adults do or say, they will imitate others. Therefore, if the father is grumpy, then the child will learn to be grumpy; If the mother is lazy, then the child will learn to be lazy. Therefore, parents should at least make their behavior positive in front of their children and give them a demonstration with their good words and deeds. If parents have problems with their words and deeds, don't blame their children for following suit.

3. Use punishment with caution, especially not corporal punishment. It is difficult for a child of this age to understand the rules that parents try to make him understand and learn through punishment. Children will not gradually form a sense of rules until they are 5 years old. On the other hand, if parents use corporal punishment, they will not learn "truth", but are more likely to learn how to solve problems by violence, that is, children will treat others by imitating their parents' punishment.

4. Avoid emotional conflicts with children, especially don't be emotionally opposed to children. Once parents and children have emotional conflicts, then children will shrink back and gradually develop into two sets of behavior patterns in front of parents and behind them. It is impossible for children to understand the intention behind their parents' anger when they lose their temper. They will only pay attention to and strongly feel the pressure of anger, which will have a very negative psychological impact on children and will block future communication between children and parents. Many parents worry that their children will not tell themselves anything, and the reason can be traced back to the emotional conflict between parents and children at this age.
