In terms of international academic influence, based on Scopus database, the report counts the number of international papers published by universities in the field of artificial intelligence in China. The analysis shows that Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Harbin Institute of Technology and Beihang University rank first.

In terms of domestic academic strength, the top universities are Harbin Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, Jilin University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Tianjin University.

Judging from the number of innovation patents, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, xidian university, Beihang University and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China are the top universities to measure the innovation vitality of AI major.
