Chongqing Normal University (CQNU) was founded in 1954. It is a multi-disciplinary institution of higher learning with a focus on arts and sciences and a coordinated development of multi-disciplines. Located in Chongqing, a famous historical and cultural city, with a campus area of 2804 mu, including University Town Campus, Shapingba Campus and Beibei Campus.
The school is a model school of running schools according to law in Chongqing, a civilized unit in Chongqing, an advanced collective in moral education in Chongqing, a garden-style unit in Chongqing, a top ten clean unit in Chongqing, a forest campus in Chongqing, and the first batch of pilot universities in China to reform the education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents and the training plan for outstanding teachers.
