Single-line law refers to some single-line provisions, and the case law adopted by common law system is mainly the mode of single-line law, which is contrary to the practice of making codes in civil law system.

One-way method is a title corresponding to general method. The general law provides comprehensive legal issues, while the special law provides special provisions for a special legal matter stipulated in the general law. For example, China's "General Principles of the Civil Law" stipulates real rights matters such as guarantee, mortgage and pledge. And there is another security law in China, which is a separate law. Compared with the security law, the General Principles of Civil Law is a comprehensive general law.
