The National Health and Wellness Commission issued the Notice of the General Office of the National Health and Wellness Commission on Implementing Measures to Reduce the Burden for Grass-roots Units to Improve Continuing Medical Education, and put forward specific measures to get rid of formalism, effectively reduce the burden for grass-roots units and improve continuing medical education.
The "Notice" requires that the credit management of continuing medical education be reformed, and the class I and class II credits obtained by medical personnel will be valid in the same year nationwide; Class I and Class II credits obtained by participating in the relevant training of this major in that year can complement each other, and the proportion shall not exceed 50% of the total credits of this category.
Those who have participated in standardized training for residents, specialists and assistant general practitioners, those who have studied for 6 months or more and passed the examination, and those who have won provincial and above scientific and technological achievement awards can be regarded as qualified in continuing medical education in that year.
Distance continuing medical education institutions shall not directly grant credits to students, and the corresponding credits shall be issued after verification by the provincial education commission where the students are located.
