The full name of special post teachers is a special policy implemented by the central government for rural compulsory education in the central and western regions. By openly recruiting college graduates to teach in rural schools in the central and western regions.

The notice clarified the scope of policy implementation, the number of recruits, work priorities and other information. Among them, in 2023, the whole country plans to recruit 52,300 teachers from the central "special post plan" and 7,400 teachers from Henan.
Special post teacher recruitment conditions:
1. Meet the requirements of the recruitment position, have the corresponding teacher qualification certificate, and meet the Putonghua level, physical conditions and psychological conditions stipulated by the Teachers Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), Teachers Qualification Regulations and other laws and regulations. It meets the requirements of the top ten standards of professional behavior of primary and secondary school teachers in the new period, and has no criminal record and other illegal records that may not be employed.
2. Junior high school requires a bachelor's degree or above, with teachers' majors as the mainstay; Primary schools require a bachelor's degree or above, with teachers' majors as the mainstay, and can appropriately recruit graduates from normal colleges.
3. Not more than 30 years old.
4. Volunteers who have participated in the "Volunteer Service Plan for College Students in the West" and have teaching experience and graduates from normal universities who have participated in internship and teaching for more than half a year are given priority under the same conditions.
