History: Due to different meanings, the definition of history can be summarized into two kinds in connotation. The broad sense of "history" is the unity of "history has two meanings" produced by the simultaneous training of "history", including: (1) the objective existence and development process of human society in the past completely independent of human consciousness; (2) Historians create spiritual production practices and products by describing and exploring this objective existence, process and its laws. The narrow sense of historiography does not include the former, especially the latter. In a narrow sense, historiography is the unity of spiritual production and practice, and what it creates belongs to ideology. As far as its nature is concerned, there are different definitions of "activity", "learning" or "scholarship", "knowledge system", "science", "art", "semi-science and semi-art" and "synthesis" due to the different angles and starting points of historians' investigation.
History education: an educational activity with history and history as its main content.
History education in a broad sense refers to the educational activities based on history carried out by all walks of life in human society.
In a narrow sense, history education refers to an educational activity based on history, with students as the main training object and teachers and students exploring and growing together.
History and history education are all developed from history, that is, history is the basis of history and history education. Without history, there is no history and history education. History can supplement and improve historical materials to a certain extent. History education must be based on objective historical facts.
