Jiujiang Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery and Martyrs Exhibition Hall
Venue: Luoshi Peak, Lianxi District, nanshan park.
Background: Jiujiang is a red hot land. During the revolutionary war years, more than 65,438+10,000 outstanding sons and daughters in Jiujiang gave their precious lives for the revolutionary cause, and there were more than 1.6 million recorded martyrs. To commemorate the martyrs, the Jiujiang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China established the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery in Nanhu Park on 1954 and moved it to the top of Luoshi Mountain on 1994. The park covers an area of 23 mu, with more than 400 tombs of unknown martyrs, 9 tombs of martyrs/KLOC-0, 87 tombs of old Red Army and anti-Japanese veterans, and the Jiujiang Revolutionary Martyrs Exhibition Hall is built downstairs in Dehua.
Present situation: In recent years, the Lianxi district government has increased investment to build nanshan park into a public leisure park integrating red, green and antique colors.
