1, zhongshan torch polytechnic was established in April 2004, conceived in the "National Torch Plan", organized by Zhongshan Municipal People's Government and entrusted to Zhongshan Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone for management. It is the first public higher vocational college founded by Zhongshan.

2. The school consists of packaging college, finance and business college, photoelectric information college, equipment and intelligence college, health industry college, ideological and political education department and public course teaching department. At present, there are 6 professional groups and 27 majors, including 4 national key majors, 4 backbone majors and 2 central support majors, and the pilot project of certificate system of the Ministry of Education 1+X 0+05.

3. There are 44 faculty members1person, including 34 doctors, 296 masters, and 48 senior titles1person. There are 2 people enjoying the special allowance of the State Council and 8 leading talents in higher vocational education in Guangdong Province.

Teaching construction:

1, the school has 1 national professional teaching resource database, 4 national key construction majors in higher vocational colleges, 4 national key majors, 2 professional service industry development projects supported by the central government, 6 modern apprenticeship pilot majors of the Ministry of Education, 1 provincial key majors and 8 Guangdong brand majors.

2. There are 3 national training bases, 1 national double-qualified teacher training bases, 9 professional training bases in Guangdong Province, 3 public training centers in Guangdong Province and 7 off-campus practice teaching bases for college students in Guangdong Province.

3. Have 1 national excellent business education courses and 16 provincial excellent open courses in Guangdong Province (including excellent courses, excellent resource sharing courses and open video courses).
