Hunan University, referred to as "Huda", is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is jointly built by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and ranks among the national "double first-class", "985 Project" and "21/project".
