Fourth, how to pursue wealth.
The color of the place of origin must be fake food and clothing to continue.
Especially in industrialized society, our individual survival cannot be separated from others. Without farmers to provide us with food and workers from all walks of life to provide us with what we need, we will be unable to move.
On the one hand, we need to gain wealth through our own labor; On the one hand, we should exchange the fruits of other people's labor through wealth. Therefore, Buddhists also need wealth as a guarantee of survival.
So, how should Buddhist disciples pursue wealth?
In addition to cultivating Fukuda, we should also pay attention to our efforts in this life, because the blessings can only be reflected in certain forms.
Even if the pie falls from the sky, we still have to reach out and pick it up, otherwise it will be for nothing.
The karma mentioned in Buddhism includes internal cause and external edge, and the internal cause needs external edge to achieve it.
In today's society, this means corresponding education and vocational training.
Without the skills to make a living, even if there are blessings, they will not sprout and blossom like seeds piled in a warehouse, let alone bear fruit.
If we have professional education or practical skills, employment opportunities will increase.
While doing self-reliance, you can also use your skills to provide services for all beings and contribute to society:
"If the bodhisattvas seek ingenious thinking in the world, they will gather many treasures and benefit all beings."
Wonderful workmanship is one of the five senses, including all appropriate technical skills, which can enable us to create wealth better.
In Hua Yan's Poverty in Shi Jing, the Buddha gave a detailed explanation:
"The so-called words, calculations, books, seals (xi), fire, water, wind, and various theories are taken with salt;
He is also good at all kinds of prescriptions: madness, dryness, ghosts and poison, and knows how to remove them. Writing, singing and dancing, singing and dancing, playing music, laughing and knowing what is good; National cities, villages, palaces, gardens, springs, ponds, grass, trees, flowers and medicines are all lined with cloth and salt; Gold, silver, mani, pearls, colored glasses, snails, jade, coral and other treasures are known to the world; There is nothing wrong with the sun, the moon, the stars, birdsong, earthquakes, night dreams, good luck and good observation; Abide by precepts, meditate, have boundless magical powers, and be colorless. , and everything else in the world, but for all sentient beings, it is not for the loss of worry, but for the benefit, whether it is salty or clear, and gradually make them live in the supreme Buddha. "
It can be seen that professional skills are not only the necessary guarantee for survival, but also the enrichment of bodhisattva's interests.
As the saying goes: "360 lines, each line is the best." If we are lucky and work hard, no matter what major we study or what job we do, as long as we obey the law, we all have the opportunity to make a fortune and hope for success.
Follow the law and seek wealth
As I said before, positive life is a reasonable means of making a living, and it is also one of the eight right ways to practice Buddhism.
Taking making a living as the practical content shows its importance to life.
For most people, almost all the golden years of their lives are spent at work.
If you can't make good use of it, it will be the biggest waste; If you intentionally or unintentionally create bad karma, you will lose more than you gain.
What is an active life?
As citizens, we can't violate the legal norms;
As disciples of Buddhism, we can't violate the precepts.
Ten good deeds that householders must abide by include:
On the contrary, ten bad things must be avoided.
Ten kinds of illegal wealth-gathering phenomena are also listed in Buddhist scriptures.
Regrettably, these illegal acts still exist today and continue to endanger the public.
The ill-gotten wealth thus obtained will not only defile our personality and be spurned by the world, but also be punished by law.
Just like the father and son who were hurt by gold, it was too late to regret when they paid a heavy price.
Therefore, we must pursue wealth as usual.
Seeking wealth according to law includes two aspects: open source and throttling, as the Buddha told us:
Open source means mastering all kinds of means to make a living and get rich, and throttling means frugality, living within our means.
At the same time, we must diligently cultivate good karma and repair Futian. As long as these points are achieved, wealth will increase day by day.
