China Geo University (Beijing) is located in Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing. Its predecessor was Beijing Institute of Geology, which was formed by the merger of Peking University, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University and the Geology Department (branch) of Tangshan Railway Institute during the adjustment of 1952 departments.
