Are parents satisfied with the school education in China?
China Education Development Report (20 17), an education blue book released in Beijing on April 18, shows that parents of China students are generally dissatisfied with school education. Among the respondents, more than half of the parents think that the school where their children are located has a serious tendency to take exams, and most expect the school to make changes in "paying attention to the all-round development of children".

This report is published by 2 1 Century Education Research Institute. The above research conclusions are based on the questionnaire survey "School Education in Parents' Eyes" conducted by the Institute from June to February last year165438+/kloc-0. A total of 1356 1 parents participated in the survey, and their children attended schools in 3 1 provinces.

The survey carries out perceptual evaluation from three indicators: first, the degree to which parents think their children like school; Second, parents' willingness to attend the current school for their children; The third is the overall satisfaction of parents with the teachers in their children's class.

According to statistics, the overall average of parents' satisfaction with school education is 3.54 points (out of 5 points), and the satisfaction of parents in about 2/3 provinces is lower than the overall average.

In terms of provinces, the province with the highest parental satisfaction is Jilin, followed by Guangdong, Chongqing and Hunan. The top three provinces of parents' satisfaction are Tibet, Shanxi and Liaoning.

According to the analysis of the report, parents' satisfaction with schools in China is not completely related to the educational development level of their children's schools. Jilin, Guangdong, Chongqing, Hunan and other places with high evaluation are not advanced areas for academic quality testing; In some provinces with rich educational resources, such as Jiangsu and Shanghai, parents' satisfaction with school education is lower than the overall average.
