How to Strengthen and Improve Students' Network Ideological and Political Education under the New Normal
How to open up a new front of network ideological and political education Abstract: The rapid development of network information technology has had a great and profound impact on ideological and political work in colleges and universities. Based on the practice of ideological and political work and the analysis of the characteristics of the Internet, this paper discusses the opportunities and severe challenges brought by networking to ideological and political work in colleges and universities, and puts forward some countermeasures to open up new positions of ideological and political education in colleges and universities for discussion. Both the Opinions and the meeting proposed to "actively occupy the new position of network ideological and political education" and "comprehensively strengthen the construction of campus network to make the network an important means to carry forward the main theme and carry out ideological and political education". This puts forward a new and important topic for ideological and political educators in colleges and universities in China. Although the Internet started late in China, it has developed rapidly and has penetrated into all walks of life. China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) released the15th statistical report on China's Internet development on June 5438+/October 09, 2005. By the end of 2004, there were 94 million Internet users in China, including 42.8 million broadband users and 41600,000 computers. There are 430,000 domain names and 660,000 websites registered under CN. It is predicted that in 2005, the number of Internet users in China will reach 654.38+0.2 billion, surpassing the United States to become the country with the largest number of Internet users in the world. However, in 1997, this figure was only 620,000, which was more than 50 times of/kloc-0 in seven years. In colleges and universities, the online rate of college students is nearly 100%. It can be said that colleges and universities in the 2nd/kloc-0th century are the forefront of China's social interaction, and the Internet will have more and more influence on college students' behavior patterns, values, political attitudes, personality psychology, moral and legal concepts, etc. Therefore, how to deal with the challenges brought by the network era to ideological and political education in colleges and universities, seize the opportunity, promote ideological and political education in colleges and universities into the network, and build a new position of ideological and political education in the network is an important topic of ideological and political education in colleges and universities at present. First, the new opportunities brought by networking to ideological and political work in colleges and universities. The Internet is called the "fourth media" after newspapers, radio and television. As a brand-new media and advanced scientific and technological means, it has brought many conveniences and opportunities to ideological and political education. (1) The extensiveness and cross-temporal nature of network information content have expanded the educational space of ideological and political work in colleges and universities unprecedentedly. The theoretical course of ideological and political education is the main channel of ideological and political education for college students, which needs a lot of information support. At present, the common problems are that the amount of information is small, the vision is not wide enough, the content is old and single, and it lacks sufficient persuasion and attraction, which greatly weakens the effectiveness of education. The content of network information dissemination is very rich, involving politics, economy, culture, science and technology, sports, health and other fields, which provides rich resources for ideological and political work, expands the field of ideological and political work, and provides a new open environment and broad space for effectively strengthening students' ideological and political education. The trans-temporal nature of network information mainly means that information dissemination has no time and space restrictions, and all kinds of information can be obtained online 24 hours a day. People from different universities, different regions and even different countries can share resources and exchange ideas with each other through the Internet. This breaks the time and space limitation of the development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities. Through the network, school education, family education and social education can form a real joint force. With the popularity of the Internet, the network of ideological and political work in colleges and universities can be connected with government agencies, families and enterprises, which provides convenience for all sectors of society to participate in ideological and political work in colleges and universities and is conducive to the formation of a strong joint force of the whole society to care for and support ideological and political education of college students. (2) The rapidity and immediacy of network information greatly enhance the timeliness of ideological and political work in colleges and universities. The timeliness of ideological and political work in colleges and universities is very important, and the key to timeliness is to collect, transmit and use information quickly. Only by being "quick" can we put our work ahead and gain the initiative in ideological and political work. All kinds of network information can be described as colorful, with academic information, entertainment information, economic information, all kinds of reactionary, pornographic and violent online games, and even some anti-science and pseudo-science information mixed together. Various websites, chat rooms and so on are dizzying, and some information rubbish is sent from time to time. Because of their shallow experience, strong curiosity and immature thoughts, college students often lack vigilance and discrimination ability against some harmful information and are easily corroded by it. Network is an endless world, and all kinds of social forces are trying to occupy a place, so it is easy for college students to come into contact with any kind of culture and thought. At present, the United States and other western developed countries account for 95% of the information flow, while China's information flow is less than 1%. This has formed a global communication system with western ideology and culture as the core. They tried to infiltrate ideology through the internet and compete with our party for the younger generation. Therefore, in such a diversified world cultural circle in the network age, how to adhere to the unification of guiding ideology among college students and how to cultivate and carry forward the spirit of the Chinese nation is a new topic that needs to be seriously studied and solved in ideological and political work in colleges and universities. How to solve this topic is directly related to whether college students can grow into useful people and to the future and destiny of the Chinese nation. (2) The serious influence of the Internet on ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The appearance of Internet poses a severe challenge to the traditional ideological and political education methods. The traditional propaganda and education that only depends on teachers standing on the podium to make reports and read documents can no longer meet the needs of ideological and political work in the new period. On such an equal and interactive platform built by the network, college students' subjective consciousness will be greatly mobilized, which will affect their cognitive style and acceptance style, which will have a very prominent collision with the traditional one-way indoctrination of authority in colleges and universities. Under this influence, the traditional indoctrination education is not only difficult to be accepted by students, but may even produce rebellious psychology. Entering the internet is like stepping into the global village. The communication of college students on the Internet is completely different from the traditional social communication. On the Internet, the gender, age and identity of college students can be concealed, which makes online communication more hidden, open and mysterious. The binding force of traditional social moral norms is relatively weakened on the internet, which also makes it difficult for educators to effectively monitor college students and easily leads to the weakening of college students' moral consciousness. In addition, on the Internet, college students can travel around the world without leaving home, shop online, make friends online, have fun online, and live a completely virtual life. It is easy to find space to play a role and various "confidants" online, thus gaining a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in interacting with others, which may lead to bad psychological barriers. Such as interpersonal barriers, personality barriers, emotional entanglements, security anxiety, such as onlineness, Internet addiction, puppy love, cyber violence, fraud, cyber sex, personality alienation and so on. At the same time, because people rely too much on the Internet to communicate and communicate, the chances of direct meeting are reduced, which leads to indifference of moral feelings, and college students will psychologically reject traditional ideological and political education. Due to the uncertainty of identity and the inconsistency between the dual roles of network society and real society, ideological and political workers in colleges and universities will feel that there is nothing to do and nowhere to go, and they are at a loss what to do, which may make ideological and political education work unresolved. Influenced by the traditional ideas, habits and methods of ideological and political work, most colleges and universities that set up websites only put the contents of their own radio stations, school journals and TV stations online, lacking the research on the laws, characteristics and advantages of online ideological and political education, resulting in a lot of online content, but few can really play the initiative and combat effectiveness of online ideological and political work. Therefore, college websites should consider how to attract young college students, because websites without click-through rates are lifeless. To enhance the attraction, it is necessary to study the interest characteristics of young students, enrich the content of network information, combine education with service, and provide more information and services for college students with rich content and vivid forms, so as to make them close to reality, life and college students, thus serving and uniting college students. Otherwise, the ideological and political work website is just a decoration. The third is to strengthen the standardized management of campus network information. Correctly use technical, administrative and legal means to effectively strengthen management and prevent all kinds of harmful information from spreading on the Internet. Carry out online legal publicity, enhance college students' legal concept and create a good campus network culture atmosphere. Strengthen the construction of network information work team, and cultivate and build a network information work team in colleges and universities that combines full-time and part-time jobs. We can't emphasize tradition over network, and we can't emphasize network over tradition, both of which have their own advantages.
