Born in 198 1, Gao Dan was born in Lianyungang, Jiangsu. In 2002, his hometown was going to build a school for hearing-impaired children. At the suggestion of his father, Gao Dan was admitted to Nanjing Normal University, specializing in early rehabilitation education for hearing-impaired children. Before that, Gao Dan didn't know what rehabilitation for hearing-impaired children was.
"Find a child and save a family." Gao Dan, who wears long hair, smiles like a crescent moon. As a rehabilitation teacher in Huizhou Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled, Gao Dan has brought countless hearing-impaired children since 15. In her eyes, these lovely children are no different from ordinary children
Cochlear implants have not been popularized before, and most children can't teach to talk by listening. Gao Dan said helplessly, at that time, it was really "relying on the sky to eat." Teachers will work harder when they meet children with good conditions, and rehabilitation training will also produce results. "But from another perspective, it is not difficult to teach them. They are very clever. If their hearing compensation is good, we will teach them like children with normal hearing. " Gao Dan will use hearing rehabilitation skills to teach them what to learn at that age.
Every class in Gaodan should pay attention to designing various situational teaching according to the hearing, age and interest of each hearing-impaired child, so that children can understand the sound more easily when they are there. With rich work experience, Gao Dan no longer regards children as special children. She will be as strict with children's behavior habits as normal children, and also guide parents not to spoil or dislike their children because of their defects.
