Compared with the one-year entrance education courses in foreign universities, it is difficult to achieve better results in such a short entrance education cycle.

Carrying out civilized etiquette education in college freshmen's entrance education is conducive to improving students' moral cultivation and promoting the formation of good ideological and moral quality.
2.2 Legal education
In the process of freshmen's entrance education, we should not only teach them some basic legal knowledge, but also warn everyone with the cases that happened around us. In the process of educating freshmen on the concept of law and discipline, the author adds case analysis to guide students to strengthen the concept of law and discipline with specific case education. Safety education should not be neglected in freshmen's entrance education. It is necessary to educate students to be vigilant at all times to prevent fire, theft, fraud and personal injury, strictly abide by the school's accommodation management regulations in the dormitory, and cultivate students' good sense of discipline from the freshman year.
2.3 Mental health education
With the continuous promotion of building a harmonious socialist society and the increasingly fierce competition for talents in China, strengthening the mental health education of freshmen is an important measure to comprehensively implement the party's educational policy and implement quality education under the new situation. In 2008, the school where the author works started to offer the course "College Students' Mental Health Education" for freshmen. Through the education of mental health overview, self-awareness, emotional management, sound personality and frustration coping, it helps freshmen to optimize their psychological quality and enhance their psychological adjustment ability and social life ability.
At the same time, the school has built a three-level work network of "school-college (department)-class" to create an efficient work team and ensure the pertinence and effectiveness of freshmen's mental health education. In addition, when freshmen enter school every year, we choose SCL-90, UPI and other psychological test scales to conduct psychological tests on students and establish mental health files for each student. At the same time, the school conducts psychological crisis surveys on freshmen from time to time, and after screening out students with psychological crisis, it organizes full-time and part-time psychological counseling teachers to make diagnosis, guidance and referral.
2.4 Professional learning method education
Learning method is a means to improve learning efficiency and achieve learning goals. Because university courses include professional theory courses, professional practice courses and public elective courses. Self-study has gradually become the most important way of learning after entering the university. Students need to spend a lot of energy to study independently after class and improve their knowledge structure. This requires us to introduce the professional training objectives, teaching plans, teaching methods and learning methods to freshmen, help them understand the professional teaching methods and curriculum, guide freshmen to correct their learning attitude, stimulate their learning motivation, master scientific and effective learning methods, and then improve their learning efficiency.

2.6 career planning education
Career planning refers to the process of comprehensive analysis and decision-making on the basis of practice, according to internal conditions such as one's own abilities, interests and values, combined with external conditions such as professional environment, to determine one's career development direction, and to take effective actions to achieve the set goals. Therefore, for college students, career planning refers to designing the most suitable career and career development path for themselves according to their own characteristics and social requirements. In the career education of freshmen, the key point is to guide freshmen to determine their career direction and goals on the basis of understanding themselves, and make corresponding plans to avoid blindness in employment and design reasonable and feasible career development plans.
