There are 5 fire fighting colleges in China, among which 1 subordinate colleges are: Chinese People's Armed Police College (located in Langfang City, Hebei Province); There are 4 first-class fire command schools, namely Kunming, Xi and Urumqi fire command schools and Nanjing fire sergeant school; There is also a training base for senior police officers, namely the Tianjin Police Training Base of the Fire Department of the Ministry of Public Security. Some of these institutions mainly focus on academic education, some undertake the training of gendarmerie officers and correspondence education, and some undertake the training of non-commissioned officers. In addition, there are training bases in various provinces and cities, which are not only responsible for the short-term business and skill training of local fire officers and soldiers, but also undertake the full-time and part-time firefighter training of various enterprises and units in society.

The education and training of public security fire fighting forces implements a training system that combines military training with college education. The education and training of fire fighting forces includes the training of new recruits, regular training of soldiers, intensive training before soldiers are promoted to squad leaders and non-commissioned officers, college education for cultivating growing cadres, police training for fresh graduates of local colleges, cadre promotion and professional training, and rotation training for senior police officers. Firefighters engaged in fire audit, fire supervision and inspection, fire cause investigation and fire fighting and rescue of construction projects must pass the examination and obtain qualification certificates before taking up their posts.
Nine, social fire education and training
(1) Fire control propaganda organizations and media. The public security fire department regards it as an important duty and task to publicize and popularize fire laws and regulations and fire safety knowledge and improve the public's fire safety quality. Public security fire control institutions at all levels have propaganda departments and full-time fire control propaganda personnel. The mainstream news media in China have generally set up special editions, columns and special programs on fire control. At the same time, it also uses fire-fighting professional newspapers and websites to carry out fire-fighting publicity. At present, the national fire-fighting professional newspapers and periodicals include China Fire Magazine and People's Public Security Daily Fire Weekly. There are more than 400 professional fire websites in China, among which "China Fire Online" sponsored by the Fire Department of the Ministry of Public Security and "China Fire Network" sponsored by the China Fire Protection Association are more influential.
