1. The predecessor of the School of Education of Huazhong Normal University can be traced back to 1922, the Department of Educational Philosophy established by Zhonghua University, and 1924, the Department of Education established by Huazhong University.

2. 1985 was renamed the Education Department of Huazhong Normal University, and 1993 established the School of Education Science of Huazhong Normal University.

3. In 2005, the Education Department of the former College of Education Sciences, Hubei Putonghua Training and Testing Center, Central China Normal University Curriculum Research Center and Education Evaluation Center established the Education College of Central China Normal University.

4. There are 87 faculty members and 70 full-time teachers, including 26 professors, 34 associate professors, 4 people enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, the first cross-century talent training program for humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education 1 person, 4 people supporting the excellent talents in the new century of the Ministry of Education, and 4 people under the Chutian Student Program.

Introduction to Huazhong Normal University:

1. College consists of three departments and five colleges, namely, education department, preschool education department, special education department, curriculum and teaching college, education history and comparative education college, higher education college, teacher education college, integrated education college, early education college and family education college.

2. A number of school-level research centers have been established, such as Curriculum Research Center, Primary and Secondary School Development Research Center, Preschool Education Research Center, Tao Xingzhi International Research Center, Cultural Education Classic Research Center, China Ecological Civilization Education Research Center, China Education Management Research Center, and Education Professional Degree Postgraduate Education Center.
