Subjects and Contents of Chongqing Teacher Qualification Examination According to the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Further Improving the Supplementary Work of Primary and Secondary School Teachers (Teacher [2009] No.2), the subjects and contents of Chongqing Teacher Qualification Examination are as follows:

I. Examination subjects and forms

The examination is divided into two forms: written examination and interview. The written examination is closed.

Written examination subjects: pedagogy, educational psychology, educational laws and regulations, teachers' professional ethics and professional quality.

Interview subject: comprehensive practical ability.

Second, the examination eligibility criteria

The total score of the teacher qualification examination is 300 points. The total score of applicants shall not be less than 180, and the total score of discipline and professional quality and comprehensive practical ability shall not be less than 90, subject to passing the teacher qualification examination.
