Wenlinshan Revolutionary Cemetery is located in Linwen Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou. The cemetery was founded in 1988, covering an area of 70,000 square meters and a building area of 65 13 square meters. There are martyrs monument, revolutionary martyrs exhibition hall and memorial square.
The cemetery is built on the mountain, covering an area of 10 hectare, north-south direction. The plane of the martyrs' tomb is rectangular, with earth-rock structure, and the third-level tomb is flat, with a width of 26 meters and a depth of 90 meters. The first-class tomb flat is made of earth, and flowers and trees are widely planted. Climb the stairs to the second and third floors of the tomb, and the stones are laid. The third-level tomb covers an area of more than 200 square meters, with two tombs in the middle, the tomb of Du Fengrui, an air force combat hero, in the east and the tomb of revolutionary martyrs in the west. Both tombs are cylindrical, with a height of 1.2m and a diameter of about1m. A huge bluestone tombstone stands in front of the tomb of revolutionary martyrs. On the front, the words "Tomb of Revolutionary Martyrs, established by Fuzhou People's Committee of Fujian Province in May 1958" are engraved, and the names of 88 revolutionary martyrs are engraved on the back. Yong 'antang was built behind the tomb of the martyrs, with a building area of 2,400 square meters.
1October 1987 1 1 April 1988, the revolutionary martyrs' deeds monument and exhibition hall were newly built on the east side of the martyrs' tomb. The monument is 27.8 meters high, with reinforced concrete inside and stones piled outside. On the front, it says, "Revolutionary martyrs are immortal!" There is a mourning hall in front of the monument.
There are 258 revolutionary martyrs who died during the period of new-democratic revolution and socialist revolution construction in the cemetery, including Wu Shi, a famous martyr of our party's hidden front, Du Fengrui, an air force combat hero, Zheng Zhonghua, who was awarded the title of "emergency rescue warrior" by the Central Military Commission, and Zheng Yikai, who was posthumously awarded the title of "second-class hero" by the Ministry of Public Security. The cemetery is a national education base, a provincial martyrs memorial facility protection unit in Fujian Province, a patriotic education base in Fujian Province, a national defense education base in Fujian Province, and a party history education base in Fujian Province.
