We do not object to the personal value demands of officers and men who want to learn technology and become professionals in a certain field. However, if the realization of personal value is opposed to the performance of the mission, and there is no firm belief in completing your mission, it will be difficult to achieve the goal pursued by personal value. Throughout the history of the army, we can find that whenever the construction and development of the army is in an important transition period, a large number of outstanding young people from society will be recruited. These aspiring young people have shouldered the sacred mission entrusted by the party and the people and realized their own life value in fulfilling their mission. Practice has fully proved that only when soldiers are fully integrated into the tide of military development and construction, and their destiny is linked with the cause of the party and the army, the interests of the country and the people, can they release their energy to the maximum extent and realize their self-worth while dedicating themselves. The historical mission of our army in the new century and new stage provides a vast world for every soldier to display his talents. Every soldier should use his historical mission, unify his thoughts and actions with a high sense of mission and urgency, and strive for achievements worthy of the times and the people.

There is no "audience" to fulfill the historical mission-mission and personal thinking

Every post and job we are engaged in is an integral part of fulfilling our historical mission. The accumulation of quantity is bound to have a qualitative leap. Whether we can start from our own posts and make a difference in our own jobs is the most practical test of whether we can truly fulfill our historical mission.
