The principle of pedagogy, formerly known as "the basic theory of education", studies the basic theoretical problems in pedagogy and explores the general principles of education. Provide comprehensive research results for the development of educational theory and educational reform. The principle of pedagogy is a basic discipline in pedagogy, which provides theoretical viewpoints and methods for the other two disciplines and provides theoretical basis for the study of various levels of education. The principle of pedagogy also draws nutrition from the other two disciplines.
The discipline of pedagogy in Yanbian University was founded in 1949 with a history of more than 50 years. In the past 50 years, this subject has experienced ups and downs, but as an indispensable subject of normal education in Yanbian University, it has been tested and developed. Especially since the reform and opening up, this subject has been further developed. 1985 approved the enrollment of postgraduate students in basic education theory (now renamed as educational principles), and 1986 awarded the master's degree in educational principles (the third batch), becoming the first ethnic group in China. From September 65438 to September 0985, the first batch of graduate students were enrolled, and this major has gone through 20 years. At present, the major has four directions: ethnic education (Korean education in China), comparative education, education management, ethnic psychology and pedagogy.
There are 15 teachers in this discipline, including 3 professors, 6 associate professors, 4 lecturers and 2 teaching assistants. 2 doctors, 10 master, 4 doctoral students. Since 1985, 17 has enrolled 132 graduate students (including 6 international students) and trained 86 graduate students (including 5 international students). There are 46 graduate students (including 1 international students).
In recent years, this discipline has combined the basic theoretical research of education with the characteristics, advantages and needs of the region and the school, and has undertaken a number of "scientific research projects" of the Ministry of Education, provinces, regions and schools around the direction of ethnic education and Northeast Asia education. He has published 9 educational monographs and books, participated in editing and publishing 2 works on Korean studies, and published more than 0/00 papers in journals above the provincial level. Among them, monograph 1 department, 3 papers won the excellent social science award of Jilin province, and more than 0 papers won the excellent educational paper award of provinces, districts and schools.
