The development of history

The College was originally founded by Professor Wang Xianming, the first generation in China who engaged in the research and clinical practice of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. Relying on the former Shandong Medical University and Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine as teaching forces, 1986 established Jinan College of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine to provide higher medical education for medical and related physician qualification examination and skill training. It is the first institution of higher learning with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine as its name and school-running characteristics, and the earliest private medical university established in Shandong Province since the reform and opening up. 199 1 cooperated with Japan to change the name of the school to "Sino-Japanese Cooperation Shandong University of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine", 1995 approved by the Provincial Department of Education to implement national academic education. 65438-0998, approved by the provincial government as a national pilot higher education institution, began to recruit students for the whole country. 200 1 authorized by the State Council, approved by the Shandong provincial people's government and put on record by the Ministry of education, it became a comprehensive ordinary college with academic education, renamed as: Shandong Liming Vocational College of Science and Technology, directly led by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education.

School strength

Shandong University of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine is the earliest institution of higher learning in China. It is located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, where the spring water is the best in the world, with the Yellow River in the north and Mount Tai in the south. Covers an area of 1 1,000 mu, with a planned land area of 3,800 mu. At present, more than 300,000 square meters of high-standard teaching buildings, experimental buildings, student apartments, libraries and comprehensive training halls have been built. There are directly affiliated hospitals 1, 3 non-directly affiliated hospitals, Medical Research Institute 1, 42 laboratories of all kinds, and the library has more than 460,000 books. At present, the college has a staff of 100. In May 2004, leaders from state administration of traditional chinese medicine and Shandong Provincial Health Department came to the school to guide the work. In February, 2004, our school successfully passed the evaluation and inspection of the expert group on talent training level of higher vocational education organized by the Provincial Department of Education. In April, 2005, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health made a comprehensive evaluation of the medical specialty in our school. In May, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, state administration of traditional chinese medicine, the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Health Department and the Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine officially approved our school to continue to offer medical specialties such as integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, clinical medicine, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage, and recruit students for the whole country. On June 29th, 2005, with the approval of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Province and the Public Security Department, Shandong Provincial Department of Education approved our college to be qualified to recruit foreign students.

The Shandong Institute of Innovative Medicine and the Teaching Hospital affiliated to Shandong University of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, which have been established in our school, are based at home and look at the world, and are now discussing and cooperating with people from all walks of life at home and abroad to create brilliance for the development of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.
