What's the difference between English major and English education major?
English education major: it mainly trains English teachers in primary and secondary schools who have solid basic knowledge and skills of English language, are proficient in using English language, have advanced educational concepts, are familiar with the basic laws of education, can use modern teaching means and methods, and can adapt to the reform system of new English curriculum standards in primary and secondary schools.

English major: English majors mainly study the basic theories and knowledge of English language, literature, history, politics, economy, diplomacy, social culture and so on. They have received good training in English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, mastered certain scientific research methods, and have professional level, good quality and strong ability in translation, scientific research, teaching and management.
